The most striking changes on the exterior are the more imposing front grille and bumpers, along with new headlights and tail lights. The sliding doors gained gesture-controls to open or close from the outside - handy when someone has their hands full.
Inside, the new Odyssey features a restyled dash with a more formal approach, including a wood trim panel stretching across the upper instrument panel. The lower dash and controls are familiar, but with new trims and finishes, the interior feels much more upmarket.

Providing the Odyssey with excellent fuel economy is Honda's two-motor hybrid system "e: HEV". This powertrain whilst quiet is also powerful; something that has been well received by customers. Having an ultra-low floor platform allows seven occupants to enjoy plenty of headroom and legroom - ensuring comfort especially for long trips.
Honda made the Odyssey safer by further refining the Honda Sensing safety and driver assistance package. Included now is forward and backward false start suppression which avoids parking speed accidents with nearby objects. Collision mitigation braking (CMBS) with pedestrian detection, lane keep assist with departure alarm, adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist and traffic sign recognition are also part of Honda Sensing.
