The Mercedes-Benz E-Class has been a segment leader for years with millions of very satisfied customers. The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is more elegant than ever, the standard equipment has improved significantly, the virtual instrument cluster being standard, and the range of engines is the most electrified in the entire premium segment. The new Mercedes-Benz E-class is updated inside and out. Complete with new headlights, the front end received a much-needed facelift. A new grille and front bumper give the car a more modern and sporty appearance. New taillights keep the redesign wrapped around from the front to the back.
The new E-class is decked out with an impressive amount of safety features and technology, starting with the steering wheel. Mercedes-Benz has redesigned its steering wheel to force drivers to keep their hands on the wheel with its touch-sensitive steering wheel zones. The new interior of the E-class will be the most comfortable interior yet. Like previous years, the seats and dash will be made with high-quality materials.
The new E-class offers blind-spot monitoring and assistance to help ensure the safety of the driver and passenger by eliminating one of the biggest traffic hazards. The upgrade to this system is that the blindspot monitoring now works when the car is stopped and the driver or passenger is exiting the car.
Mercedes has kept the 2-liter turbo petrol engine with 211 hp, but it is now coupled to a more powerful 122 hp electric motor. So the power of the assembly is now 320 hp and the maximum torque reaches 700 Nm. This translate to a brisk 0-100 kmh time of just 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmh.
